SUMMARY:They sing a song of the Knight of the Fires; of a giant who felled the stars, of a son of a fallen world, and fearless warrior for forgotten dead. - They Sing to Remember
It doesn't bother Ronon, being a legend, he's been one before and at least this time he isn't the shadow of death and loss and cold dark silences Wraith leave behind. This time they run to him instead of away, and he's forgotten how good that feels, protecting. He's done the same for John and McKay and Teyla, but they don't need him, not the same way. And when the elder makes him kneel so she can draw reds and yellows in deft fingerstrokes of paint across his face, he thinks he might have finally found a legend that fits.
