TITLE: The Little Things
FANDOM: The Dresden Files (TV)
LENGTH/RATING: 142 words, PG, Gen
SUMMARY: It's the little things that get you...
Bob had been dead a long time, a really long time, and the thing about being dead was that after a while you rather missed being alive. Not that being the Invisible Man didn't have it's perks. It's being the Invisible Intangible Man that was getting on his nerves.
Though technically he no longer had nerves to get on (otherwise this would be a much different internal monologue), but that was beside the point. Actually Bob wasn't quite sure what the point was, since he'd spent quite a lot of time looking for a way to be 'less dead' and coming up woefully short. And, truth be told, being 'mostly dead' was a good sight better than being 'all dead'. So when you looked at it a certain way (and squinted) his existence might almost be bearable.
Except for the 'dead' bit.
